Recently I witnessed to an 86 year old man after others had left the room.

 I asked him, "What kind of work have you done in your lifetime?" He eagerly replied that he had travelled the world doing oil exploration.

Our conversation moved to his present condition of bone
cancer, and things he would still like to do. .I asked him what he would do then. "Just go a little slower," he replied.

And when you get to that last moment of your life, what then? "Well, I guess it will all be ready for us." he stated.

 "But," I said, "the important question is, will you be ready for it?"  Further conversation revealed that he had no Bible, and never did have one in all his life. It was my privilege to pull a Bible out of my purse and present to him his first Bible. He was very happy to receive it, and said he would read it.

Do you know there are people all around you just like this?  Perhaps there is someone God will direct you to today!

"Go ye into all the world and preach the Gospel to every creature."

Witnessing Along The Way - Index

"Lord, give us souls"
is the earnest cry of our hearts.

 

Everywhere we go we see fields that are white unto harvest. It is indeed  a great adventure to walk up to strangers and begin a conversation. Jesus said that the Holy Ghost would give us power to do that very thing....power to turn everyday talk into a powerful witness.  It is not hard to do if you will pray and get a burden. What is more important for you to do than OBEY Christ's Great Commission? It is YOU that God wants to use mightily, if you will just step out and begin!

Perhaps the following reports and comments can be used by the Lord to stir soul-winning fire in those who read them. Here you will read of witnessing experiences as we travel along the way to revivals, and others that have taken place before we began on the road in full time evangelism.

As we travel across the country we desire to be evangelists not only behind the pulpit, but also at gas stations, in Walmart, at restaurants and malls. 

It is a privilege to give out Gospel tracts everywhere we go.

We find that there are multiple opportunities to witness. A smile and a friendly "Hello! " opens many doors.

The presence of God in your life will actually attract people to you. They do not have that joy and peace that is radiated from your countenance.

Believe me, the more you reach out to people, the more you will want to do it. Some of the most excited people I have met are those who have just returned from witnessing for the Lord.  It should become a part of every  Christian's daily life.

He that winneth souls is not only wise, but full of joy.

Once you meet Jesus "at the well" you can't remain silent. You just have to go and tell somebody else!

Mt 4:19 And he saith unto them, Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.
