NOVEMBER 10-11, 2010 - EXPORT, PA
After the FGBI web pages showed pictures of the dramatic changes on campus we were anxious to see it for ourselves. Since our revival at Carlisle was the closest we would get to Export for awhile it seemed a good time to go for a visit. So it was that we arrived at Free Gospel Bible Institute and were amazed at the work that had been done. A whole area of the small white cottages had been removed, and a number of mobile homes placed for additional student housing.

President Thomas Peretic and his wife Donna invited us to go to lunch with them. While enjoying the fellowship Brother Goodwin was asked to preach in the Wednesday night service.  We appreciated staying in the beautiful guest room, and were also happy to minister and teach in chapel and two classes. Great is the work of God at FGBI.

While at Export, we were happy to visit with our good friends, Paul and Ginny McGechie.  They are now retired, but  living on campus and assisting wherever they are needed. What a great couple they are!!

NOVEMBER 1-7, 2010 - CARLISLE, PA

Midway Pentecostal Church, sitting up on the hillside, was our next destination. We know this place well, and had double reason to be excited about going to Carlisle. We looked forward to what God would do during the revival, and we also were happy to see our children and grandchildren once again. Our son-in-law, James Hawk, is pastor.

  

The yearning of our heart is for revival in the churches the Lord sends us to. We remain aware that old fashioned preaching and praying are God's tools for revival.  It is a cause for rejoicing when we see the Lord stir the hearts of the people to  bow before him and pray earnestly.

the time
to pray...

 

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
God was faithful to work in many lives. Several other churches came with victorious  testimonies of their own , and a continuing desire for fresh revival in their churches.
