March 28, 2010- Charlotte, NC - Paw Creek Ministries- Pastor Joseph Chambers What a great time we had at Paw Creek Ministries. Pastor Joseph Chambers and his sweet wife, Juanita, certainly made us feel like family in their home. We appreciated their loving care while we were there.
It was revivaltime each service as many guests joined the church folks in singing heartily unto the Lord, and praying around the altars.
89 year old Brother Beasley never missed a service, which was in addition to the nursing home services he has three times weekly. He was excited and on fire for the Lord, and praying sincerely each night.
People of all spiritual levels received the help of the Lord as they were challenged by the preaching of the word of God and responded to the altar calls.
Some were refilled with the Holy Ghost. New commitments and dedications were made as the Spirit of God brought revival to many hearts.
The pastor said some people responded and prayed like he had never seen them pray before. We rejoiced to receive a phone call from Brother Chambers after the revival services had closed... to report that a spirit of revival is continuing on in the church... that folks headed to the altar even before the preaching was through in the next Sunday service, and many are earnestly seeking the Lord. Praise the Lord! That is what we love to hear!
It was also our privilege to have several of the chapel services for Paw Creek Christian Academy. Sister Goodwin spoke to approximately eighty students plus teachers and other staff. Many students raised their hands wanting to be saved. This school reaches out to all kinds of young people and have opened the door for some to understand the Gospel for the first time. It was a great joy to see what God accomplished in their lives. March 23, 2010 Export, PA- Holiness Convention- Free Gospel Bible Institute, Pastor Tom Peretic It has been almost a year since we left this campus to begin on our new journey of full time evangelism, and it was great to return and see the evidences of continuing vision and labor for the Lord... There were new facilities, enlarged areas of ministry, and a spirit of revival.
It was our privilege to stay in the Cougar RV... one of the new mobile facilities that are fully furnished, and to enjoy all meals in the dining hall with the students and many guests. The auditorium was filled and the preaching was great, morning, afternoon, and night. What a blessing it was to be refreshed in the presence of God, and to be fed with the rich word of God. We were stirred by the powerful preaching of Brother Mike Switzer each night.
What great instruction and challenge came from Brother William Hill, Brother Gene Calicott, and so many more. Brother Goodwin preached the Thursday afternoon service, and was followed by that great preacher, Brother Travis Mattney. We certainly love to see and hear the fire of the Holy Ghost demonstrated as he ministers. And did you know... he is a great singer too? We love it!
Such an atmosphere is certainly a great opportunity for spiritual growth and commitment to ministry. We were thrilled to see the wonderful student body, and dedicated staff.
Free Gospel Bible Institute continues to be an ideal place for young people to prepare for ministry. May the Lord continue to raise up and send forth a mighty army of young people, anointed and enabled to take the Gospel to the world. (Thanks to the FGBI web site for the use of these pictures!!
